Atlantis

The Atlantis hotel and aquarium in Nassau is not to be missed.  The eight of us caught an early taxi to explore the large resort.  The Royal Towers, conference center, the Digs and the casino are all a part of the massive complex.

We made so many pictures that I will not post all of them.  The lobby of the hotel was filled with ornamentation and sculptures.

The lobby and casino are full of breath-taking design and sculptures.  We had time to look at the building decor but when we left we knew we had not been able to take it all in.  It was so ornate and decorative.  The Dale Chihuly glass art pieces were spectacular!

The Atlantis is in Paradise Island, Bahamas.  Since we were there in the early morning, the casino was not open.  The staff made sure that no underage people were inside its confines though.  We were mainly interested in seeing the aquarium named "The Dig" so that didn't interfere with our good times.
