I had the "ride of shame" home this morning. Last night I had a sleep study done with a mask to determine what equipment I needed for my sleep apnea. Well about 5:50 this morning when I drove into my neighborhood there were two retired people I know sitting in their driveway enjoying their coffee. Their truck partially hid them from my view. I am dressed in the T-Shirt that I slept in and my hair is wild due to the remains of the gum like substance that was used to hold on the electrodes that enabled the monitoring of my sleep patterns.
What a doozie of a morning look for me! If they saw me I am guessing that they assumed that I was cheating on Walter and was just trying to get into the house before he woke up. Actually I did arrive home before he woke up. When I told him about my possibility of having the neighbors suspicious of my early morning moves, he said "I can't wait until the phone call I will get!" What a good husband! And what a chuckle we had about my early morning escapades.
